Are you ready to swallow the red pill again?
According to John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum director Chad Stahelski, a new Matrix film is in the early stages of development. Stahelski worked on the stunts in the film trilogy and said in a recent interview that the Wachowski sisters have absolutely started working on the next movie.
What Stahelski didn’t reveal was if the film was a third sequel, a prequel, a reboot, or something else set in the Matrix universe.

When asked if the Wachowskis will be directing the new film, Stahelski wasn’t sure, but was “super happy that the Wachowskis are not just doing a Matrix, but they’re expanding what we all loved.”
Stahelski added that if they called on his assistance again for the film’s production, “I would absolutely put down whatever I was doing to help them”.
