At long last, the West family officially has a new addition! Kim and Kanye welcomed a new son, their fourth child, into the world on May 10. Kim happily tweeted, “He’s here and he’s perfect!” at 9:05 AM PST.
Rumors were swirling about when the surrogate–not the same one who gave birth to Chicago, Kim and Kanye’s third child, as she recently gave birth to her own child in December–would go into labor. The rumor mill was confirmed when the Wests had to skip a taping of “Ellen” this week to tend to their surrogate. Kim was present at Chicago’s birth, so she was expected to attend her fourth child’s delivery as well. The Wests headed to the hospital on Thursday night to welcome their bundle of joy.
Joining the Family
The new baby joins older siblings North, Saint, and Chicago as West #4. Kim’s tweet seems to suggest that baby, surrogate, and the West family are all in good health and doing well.
